To remove a stump, first it is cut flush with the ground as low as is possible. Then we use a

pull behind stump grinder that is transported with a pickup truck to grind out the stump,

usually 8 – 10 inches below grade. This leaves a hole usually 50% bigger than the original

stump and a pile of grindings mixed in with some dirt and rocks.
